Update on partial eclipse

I did manage to get a photo of the eclipse. It was a reflection so look to the lower right.

I took the time to go down to Lake Erie to see if I could get some photos of the partial eclipse, but  all I got was photos of the sun.

Ottawa

There was a shooting in Ottawa Canada today with one soldier killed and the killer killed by the sergeant at arms, lockdown for hours and a major stock to the country.

Gunfire

I think I heard gunshots at 0430

ebola fears

we were sitting here in northeast ohio, feeling smug about the risk of geeting infected with ebola when we learned that a nurse who cared for a patient got infected herself. It was a big schock to the area. All we can do is wait and see what happens.

Blood moon

     I took some photos of the full moon last night and it did look brighter thsn ususal. I woke early this morning in tie to see the eclipse. The weather cooperated with clear skies. I tried to take some photos of the eclipse but my camera just woud not cooperate. But at least I can say that I got to see it.
